How to run through text files and determine some stuff

Hi All I don't actually know how to explain my problem, but here goes.. I have a small form. It has a listbox with a submit button. In the list box there are ID's displayed, i.a 10027, 10028, etc. Those ID's are the names of text files that have logbook data in them, i.a dates and jobs did...
