Changing names of msnsearch to live to bing is confusing

Very long time never touch msnsearch only several times redirected by IE to msnsearch then live.com then now bing.com, but when I find hotmail it dissapeared to live.com too. But will this changing names change the essence/content and fate of MS service on the net ? I think hotmail is more...
