Hostgator New Godaddy competitor

Just got an email from Hostgator one of the leading hosting company, they now want to tap in domain name business and clearly target Godaddy as their competitior. Will be launch in 2011 according to their message. Do you think that's good for price could decreased with coupons... Will you...
