Greetings everyone. I drive for Uber and Lyft full-time, which means my driver's abstract is literally my livelihood. Yesterday, I was holding my phone for two seconds at a red light to accept a passenger trip, and a cop on a bicycle knocked on my window and issued a charge. The automatic 3-day roadside suspension is bad enough, but a conviction will get me instantly deactivated from the rideshare apps. I cannot afford to lose this in court. I’ve been heavily researching my options and looking into the defense for a distracted driving ticket in Ontario on the site
https://www.trafficparalegalservices...acted-driving/. It seems Traffic Paralegal Services has a lot of experience saving commercial drivers from this specific charge. Have any other gig workers here used them successfully?
