Parsing ASPX/HTML pages

Hi, I want to get a link from a webpage say h++p://www.daniweb.com. This page might be aspx. Then I want to extract a particular url from this and I have to open that url with some parameters. What should I use for this for doing this in python?? Just need the direction. Before posting this...
