I think there is no problem about On-page since I think the owner will know what kind of content and how the site structure should be. What I'm more concerning is how to increase the traffic and ranking. The most viable way I can think of to increase traffic is via social network like facebook or twitter. On the other hand, ranking seems to require much harder work since it requires active work in finding and communicating in travelling-related forums. Guest blogging in other travelling blogs/sites are also excellent these days but it also requires hard work in finding suitable sites.
