Do Follow Links & No Follow Links

No follow links do not pass the link Weightage to the website linked with the hyperlinked word.

Do Follow Link pass the link Weightage to the website linked with the hyperlinked word.

Links with nofollow attribute are calling nofollow links. Normal HTML hyperlinks which point to other web page is dofollow (though there is nothing like dofollow attribute).

Nofollow links don't flow link juice to the linked page.

Do follow means searche engines like google will credit the link and let page rank flow to the linked site. Nofollow will not let page rank flow...:)

Nofollow

Link which contain Rel=”nofollow” HTML attribute is nofollow the attribute simply assist search engines to know more about the link. Whenever you found a little piece of code in your link i.e. Rel=”nofollow” it mean that the link is nofollow and these types of links does not impact the authority nor help you out to Improve Seo ranking or visibility of your website.

Because rel nofollow tag is a noindex tag which has in fact a clear instruction for Search engines that do not try to index particular link.

By adding the above mentioned code for noindex crawlers simply ignore it and do not give any value nor pass link juice which cannot be prolific for batter ranking in search engines.

Dofollow

It is a type of link which has a potential to improve the ranking and the credibility of your website in Google. By default every link is dofollow, link which does not contain Rel=”Nofollow” Attribute is dofollow and these are considered to be the most powerful links for any websites.

These links allow search engine to doindex and pass link juice which is indeed the most vital thing for webmasters. The credit goes to Google who introduces dofollow link in 2005 to deeply filter search engine results for spam indexing.

Do-follow link are the links who followed by the Google web crawler and a link with rel="nofollow" will not pass link juice to that page.

This is simple to understand.

A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs. No follow links get no love
Follow links are links that count as points, pushing SEO link juice and boosting the page rank of the linked-to sites, helping them go higher in the SERPs as a result.

Both are counted as backlinks but dofollow passes the authority as well as link as the link juice from which your website is getting backlink and nofollow does't passes any authority or link juice.
