Ages ago I discovered a site called traffic quest, how it works is there is a list of website links, each of whom signed up to the site, by clicking these links you are given codes which, once you have them all, allows you to add your site to traffic quest, this then gives you a unique link in which your site has been placed at the top of the list and the bottom site has been knocked off. Then if someone uses your link the same happens and so on. to get your link go to Traffic Quest (http://www.trafficquest.net/index.php?r=269) When you have your link, you can get traffic from it by promoting it to other webmasters, who will then go on to promote their link which contains a link to your site. I've found that a good way of doing this is to use a traffic exchange, such as Traffic Swarm (http://www.trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?913831). Simply sign up, add an ad about your link, click on a few ads to get some credits and watch the traffic come rolling in.
